Coron

Coron Town sits on the south-east corner of Busuanga Island, not on Coron Island, and everything arrives at one of two points: Francisco B. Reyes Airport 30 km north-west at Decalachao, or the PPA port a little east of the town centre. From the airport the only sensible transfer is the shared minivan that fills up outside arrivals and drops you at your hotel for a flat ₱250. From the port it is a tricycle, and inside town the tricycle is the whole transport system – a town fare matrix sets a shared ride at ₱20 a head and the municipality has fined drivers for ignoring it. One shared minibus line, Q-Van, runs the southern highway west to Concepcion and Salvacion; beyond that you hire a scooter, a car with a driver, or a motorbike with a rider. The sea does the long-distance work: fast ferries to El Nido, a Montenegro RORO to Culion, bangkas for island hopping to Malcapuya and Banana, an overnight 2GO from Manila on Fridays and Atienza ships several times a week. All of it stops when the Philippine Coast Guard raises a no-sail policy, which in northern Palawan happens in both monsoons.

How transport works here

12 ways of moving, each with its rule

We confirmed eleven ways of moving to, from or around Coron: one by air, two by road, three hired or on demand, four by water and one under your own steam, from 57 sources. One entry is not a service at all but a rule that decides whether travel happens: a permit, a closure, a border, a season or an authority's say-so. One of them runs only on demand or when the seats are full, so there is no timetable to show; the rule is written where the timetable would be. One needs a phone call or a message before you turn up.

The fares were seen in 2025 to 2026; a fare from an older year is a floor, not a price. One fare carries no year, because it could not be confirmed and the field says so. We rate 10 of the 12 high confidence, our own judgement of the sources. The entry was checked on 28 September 2026, and ends with eleven things we could not confirm.

01
scheduled flight

Francisco B. Reyes Airport, Busuanga (USU)

Clark (CRK), Cebu (CEB) and El Nido (ENI) to Busuanga; no direct Manila service since 29 March 2026

Book to 'Busuanga (USU)', not Coron – that is how the airport is listed in every booking engine. The field is at Decalachao in Busuanga municipality, about 30 km and 45 minutes from Coron Town, with one small terminal and a taxi rank of shared vans outside the arrivals door. The big change travellers get wrong: Cebu Pacific moved every turboprop out of Manila NAIA to Clark on 29 March 2026, the last phase of the Manila Slot Coordinating Committee's turboprop removal, so the Manila–Coron flights became Clark–Coron flights and passengers were automatically rebooked. Clark is 3 to 4 hours by road north of Manila. Sunlight Air's own booking widget lists Coron's only connections as Clark and Cebu. If you must leave from Manila itself, you connect through Cebu.

When
Several flights a day from Cebu; daily from Clark with Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines and Sunlight Air; Coron–El Nido two or three times a week. No night flights – the last departures are around 14:00 to 15:00
Takes
About 1 hour 15 minutes from Cebu, 45 minutes from El Nido
Fare 2026
Sunlight Air's site shows base seat fares of ₱888 Cebu–Busuanga and ₱1,088 Clark–Busuanga; in practice a Cebu ticket runs around US$64 and a short-notice booking above US$160. Clark fares from about US$48 booked early

SeasonYear-round, but the runway is only 1,200 m, the approaches face mountains and there are no lights, so weather cancellations are common and a PAL aircraft overshot the runway in heavy rain in July 2024. Leave a full day's buffer before an onward international flight. The runway is being extended to 2,100 m, due December 2026, with a new terminal targeted for May 2027. BookingOnline with the airline. A ₱200 Coron environmental fee is collected in cash on arrival at the airport and again covers your whole stay. Run byCebu Pacific and Cebgo, Philippine Airlines, Sunlight Air, AirSWIFT (now owned by Cebu Pacific) on the El Nido hop.

Airport shared minivan to Coron Town

Francisco B. Reyes Airport to any hotel in Coron Town, and back

Walk out of arrivals and the vans are parked right there. A dispatcher asks which hotel you are staying at, takes the cash, and puts you in the van carrying people bound for the same part of town; it leaves when full. Because drivers drop at several hotels the ride can stretch past the advertised time. Going the other way, ask your front desk the evening before – every guesthouse in town books these. Millennial Island Travelmate, based on the National Highway in Barangay 3, runs the timetabled version with roughly hourly departures from 05:00 to 16:30 in each direction.

When
Meets every arriving flight; scheduled departures roughly hourly 05:00–16:30 both ways
Takes
45 minutes on the timetable, 20 to 30 minutes if you are dropped first
Fare 2026
₱250 per person, flat, to any hotel in town. A whole van chartered privately to Concepcion or the north of Busuanga costs more and is negotiated

SeasonYear-round; the last vans follow the last flight, which lands mid-afternoon. BookingNone needed at the airport – pay the dispatcher in cash. Book online or through your hotel for the return leg. Run byMillennial Island Travelmate and other Coron van operators, +63 945 711 0999.

Q-Van shared minibus along the southern highway

Coron Town to Concepcion, Sagrada and Salvacion on the west side of Busuanga, with stops anywhere along the way

The station and office are by the old fountain at Coron Town Plaza. Q-Van is the island's biggest minibus operator and this is the only route it runs to a fixed timetable, along the southern highway; you can get on and off anywhere on it, which is how to reach Concepcion Falls, Sagrada and the Busuanga Bay side without hiring a car. Buy your ticket at the office at least a few hours before, ideally five, so they know how many vans to put out; if a van fills, you wait for the next. The same office sells El Nido ferry tickets. For Ocam Ocam you get off at the end of the line and take an onward transfer.

When
Coron to Salvacion 07:30, 09:30, 11:00, 12:30, 13:00, 14:00, 16:00, 17:30; Salvacion to Coron 04:30, 07:00, 08:00, 09:00, 11:00, 13:00, 15:30, 17:30. Diesel shortages have disrupted this – in 2026 the operator warned it was not keeping to the regular schedule and told people to check at the office
Takes
About 1 hour 30 minutes end to end, with many stops
Fare 2026
₱250 per person normally; raised to ₱300 during the 2026 energy emergency, and the operator announced a cut back towards normal for July 2026 when diesel fell. Onward from the Salvacion drop-off to Ocam Ocam: ₱600 by motorbike, ₱800 by chariot for up to three, ₱1,500 by private van for up to eight

SeasonYear-round on the southern highway. A separate shared line to Ocam Ocam runs three days a week in the November to April peak and on request otherwise. BookingBuy and collect the physical ticket at the plaza office at least five hours before departure. Run byQ-Van, office at Coron Town Plaza; Q-Bus Transportation on WhatsApp +63 917 888 7993.

Tricycles and the Coron fare matrix

Everywhere in Coron Town, plus negotiated runs to Maquinit Hot Spring, Cabo Beach, Kingfisher Park and the PPA port

Stand on Real Street or the National Highway and raise a hand; the machine is a motorcycle with a sidecar and it is shared, so people hop on and off around you. There are no taxis in Coron. Two things trip people up. First, the island-hopping pier is in front of town and walkable, while the main PPA port where the Culion, Manila and El Nido ships dock is further east – say 'PPA port' or 'seaport', not just 'port'. Second, only tricycles with a particular licence may wait inside the port gate and they ask a premium; walk out to the road and flag a passing one instead. The town runs a published fare matrix, enforced by the Sangguniang Bayan with the tricycle association COTOPDA and the TFRB: in October 2025 a driver who charged six PSU-Coron students a 'town tour' surcharge was fined ₱3,000, ₱500 per passenger, after the vice mayor called both sides in.

When
Constant from dawn until late
Takes
5 to 15 minutes across town; 20 to 30 minutes out to Maquinit
Fare 2026
₱20 per person for a shared ride inside Coron Town, ₱30 to hotels just outside the downtown grid; the fare matrix fixes students at ₱20 whatever their destination. Drivers at the pier ask about ₱300 for a five-minute run into town, and one 2026 guide quotes ₱100 per person or ₱300 for a special trip from the port. Maquinit Hot Spring is about ₱300 return, though drivers open at ₱500; Kingfisher Park about ₱600 return; Siete Pecados or Cabo Beach about ₱400 return

SeasonYear-round. Fuel spikes are the usual excuse for a surcharge – Palawan pump prices touched ₱100 a litre in March 2026. BookingNone. Agree the price before you sit down if it is a special trip rather than a shared ride. Run byCOTOPDA and owner-drivers, regulated by the Municipality of Coron and the TFRB.

tour package

Multi-day expedition boats to El Nido via Culion and Linapacan

Coron to El Nido through the Culion and Linapacan island groups, sleeping in beach camps

Sold in Coron Town and online as a 3-day/2-night or 4-day/3-night crossing rather than a tour; you end up in El Nido with your luggage, so it replaces the ferry. Everything is included – meals, camping in bamboo huts or tents, snorkelling and kayaking. Places sell out one to two months ahead. Separately from the expeditions, the old passenger bangkas that call at Linapacan on the way between the two towns still appear in guides: Wave and Hannah advertised El Nido to Coron via Linapacan on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday at 09:00 and the reverse on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, on +63 949 144 1677. Treat those times as unconfirmed and ask at the pier.

When
Departures most weeks in season; the best-known operator runs October to July only
Takes
3 days and 2 nights, or 4 days and 3 nights
Fare 2025
No current published fare confirmed here; operators quote per person including all meals and camping, and one operator offers a ₱1,000 discount code. The comparable Linapacan passenger bangka was ₱1,400 when last listed

SeasonOctober to July for the main operator; the crossing is exposed and is not run in the worst of either monsoon. BookingOnline, one to two months ahead. Run byBig Dream Boatman and other Coron expedition operators; Wave and Hannah on the scheduled bangka.

moto taxi

Habal-habal motorbike with a rider for the last stretch

Mainly the Salvacion or Concepcion van drop-off onward to Ocam Ocam Beach, and short errands around the west-coast villages

Where the Q-Van line ends there is no onward shared service, so a single motorbike with its rider takes you the rest of the way; the Coron transport agents quote a fixed ₱600 for a solo traveller to Ocam Ocam, against ₱800 for a three-seat chariot and ₱1,500 for a private van. In the villages, ask at the place you are staying or at Mrs Laura's bistro opposite Concepcion Falls, who arranges bikes and tricycles for local errands. Nationally these motorcycle taxis are still legally grey outside the app-hailed city services, so expect no licence, no meter and a negotiated price. In Coron Town itself the tricycle, not the motorbike, is what you flag.

When
On demand, arranged through a guesthouse or the transport desk; nothing timetabled
Takes
Roughly 45 minutes from the Salvacion drop-off to Ocam Ocam
Fare 2026
₱600 for one person, Salvacion area to Ocam Ocam. No published rate for shorter village hops – negotiate

SeasonYear-round, but riders refuse the rough west-coast tracks after heavy rain. BookingArrange a day ahead through your guesthouse or the Q-Van office; pay the rider in cash. Run byOwner-riders, arranged through Coron transport agents and guesthouses.

Overnight and long-haul ferries from Manila, Puerto Princesa and San Jose

Manila (Pier 4 and Baseco) to Coron; Puerto Princesa to Coron; San Jose, Occidental Mindoro to Coron

All of these land at the PPA port east of town, not the island-hopping pier. 2GO is the comfortable option and the one most travellers take: one sailing a week each way from Manila, leaving Pier 4 at 17:30 on Friday and tying up in Coron at 06:30 on Saturday – 13 hours, not the overnight-plus-a-morning some itineraries assume. The Puerto Princesa boat is a separate weekly sailing that leaves at 04:30 on Sunday and takes the whole day. Atienza Interisland runs the cheap seats, with a RORO once a week and a faster craft several evenings from Manila; its Coron branch is on +63 939 912 6840. From Mindoro, Bunso Transport's bangka leaves San Jose on Tuesdays and Saturdays and comes back from Coron on Mondays and Fridays; book it through Biyaheroes, since the boat only seats about 80.

When
2GO weekly each way from Manila (Fri out, Sun back) and weekly from Puerto Princesa (Sun out, Sat back); Atienza fastcraft Mon, Tue, Wed and Sat from Manila at 18:00; Atienza RORO Saturday 11:00 from Manila; Bunso twice a week from San Jose
Takes
13 hours Manila–Coron on 2GO; about 6 hours on the Atienza fastcraft and about 13 on its RORO; 13 hours Puerto Princesa–Coron; 3 hours 30 minutes San Jose–Coron on the fast bangka, 6 to 7 hours on a RORO
Fare 2026
2GO Manila–Coron ₱2,629 super value, ₱2,729 mega value, ₱3,076 tourist class; Puerto Princesa–Coron ₱2,224 super value up to ₱5,035 for a two-berth suite. Atienza Manila–Coron ₱1,700 economy on the RORO, ₱2,200 to ₱3,350 on the fastcraft. Bunso San Jose–Coron ₱1,400 booked through Biyaheroes

SeasonYear-round on paper. Sailings are pulled whenever the Coast Guard raises a no-sail policy, and in August 2026 the Bunso San Jose–Coron run was among the cancellations. BookingOnline for 2GO and through Biyaheroes for Bunso; Atienza takes bookings on +63 928 457 7623 in Manila. A ₱200 environmental fee is collected in cash when you land at Coron port. Coron – El Nido fast ferries

Coron Ferry Terminal to El Nido Ferry Terminal across the Linapacan Strait

Four companies and only four: Montenegro Shipping Lines, Atienza InterIsland, Jomalia Shipping and Phimal. Every one of them leaves Coron in the morning and El Nido around midday. Buy at the company office, at the Q-Van office by the town plaza, or online; tickets sell out days ahead at Christmas and Holy Week. Take the warning seriously that only those four operate – travellers have been sold tickets at what looked like a company office and put on an unsuitable bangka for a night crossing that took nine hours. The old all-day bangkas that charged ₱1,200 to ₱1,400 and fed you lunch still appear in older guides; the fast craft have largely replaced them.

When
Montenegro 06:00 and 08:00 from Coron, 12:00 from El Nido, daily; Atienza 07:00 from Coron and 12:30 from El Nido, daily since 21 May 2026 on M/V November Cattleya; Jomalia 07:30 from Coron and 12:30 from El Nido, Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday since 20 July 2026; Phimal about 08:20 from Coron and 13:00 from El Nido
Takes
3 hours 30 minutes to 4 hours, and up to 5 when the strait is rough
Fare 2026
Montenegro ₱2,816 regular, ₱2,253 student, ₱2,011 senior, ₱1,408 child; Atienza ₱3,000 economy, ₱2,600 student/PWD/senior, ₱1,800 child; Jomalia ₱2,800. Add a ₱20 terminal fee paid at the port

SeasonYear-round but genuinely unreliable in bad weather. Jomalia suspended the whole route from 14 March 2026 'until further notice' in the tail of the north-east monsoon, and Atienza only restored daily sailings in May 2026 after a gap. Bring a jumper for the air conditioning and motion-sickness tablets. BookingOnline, or in person in Coron; buy as soon as you arrive in high season. Run byMontenegro Shipping Lines (Coron office +63 975 921 3830), Atienza InterIsland Ferries (Coron +63 939 912 6840), Jomalia Shipping, Phimal.

Montenegro RORO to Culion

Coron PPA port to Culion town

Take a tricycle and ask for the Coron Port, the PPA terminal – the one further east, not the island-hopping pier. The ticket booths are in front of the port gate, outside; buy there and be at the gate half an hour early, where you also pay a ₱20 port fee per person. It is a roll-on roll-off boat, so you can take a motorbike (₱1,300) or a tricycle (₱1,950) across with you. Smaller private bangkas run more often than the RORO; ask at the harbour. Coming back, port staff sometimes ask for an environmental fee again – say you already paid it on arrival in Coron.

When
Twice a day each way. Montenegro's published times are 06:00 and 12:00 from Coron and 09:00 and 15:00 from Culion; a Coron-based guide updated in August 2026 gives 06:00 and 14:00 out, 08:00 and 16:00 back. Check at the port the day before
Takes
1 hour 30 minutes on the timetable, 45 minutes to an hour in practice
Fare 2026
₱455 regular, ₱380 student, ₱350 senior, ₱208 child aged 3 to 7 on Montenegro's rate card; a Coron guide quotes ₱416 regular, ₱333 student, ₱297 senior. Plus the ₱20 port fee

SeasonYear-round. Culion is under the same Coast Guard no-sail rules as Coron and small boats are the first to be grounded. BookingNone needed; buy at the booths in front of the port gate 30 minutes before sailing. Run byMontenegro Shipping Lines, Coron office +63 975 921 3830.

Island-hopping bangkas from the town pier

Coron Town pier to Coron Island (Kayangan, Twin Lagoon, Barracuda, Banol) and out to Malcapuya, Banana, Bulog Dos, Ditaytayan, Pass Island and Black Island

The bangka – a wooden outrigger – is the only way to reach any of the beaches, and the pier is a short walk from Lualhati Park where the tours muster. Two ways to do it. Join an agency group tour, sold from every shopfront in town and from the flyers pushed at you in the airport; departures are around 09:00. Or walk down to the pier and hire a whole boat with its captain, meeting your guide at the wet market first to buy the food the crew will cook on board. The law wants a licensed guide aboard, which can be the captain. Prices per boat are set by the boatmen's association, so haggling gets you nowhere. The Escapade run to Malcapuya and Banana is at least 90 minutes each way, which is why it costs more than the Coron Island circuit.

When
Daily in season; group tours leave about 09:00, private boats whenever you ask, and 07:00 is the trick for an empty Kayangan Lake
Takes
A full day, roughly 08:00 to 17:00. Malcapuya and Banana are 90 minutes or more from town each way
Fare 2026
Agency Ultimate Tour about ₱1,400 per person. A private boat for up to four is ₱3,500 and for up to eight ₱3,850, set by the boatmen's association, plus site fees of roughly ₱1,000 to ₱1,100 for five or six stops and about ₱250 a head for food from the market. Individual entry fees run ₱100 for most beaches and Siete Pecados, ₱150 to ₱200 for Malcapuya, ₱180 Barracuda Lake, ₱280 Kayangan Lake. Kayaks ₱1,000 a day. Crews earn ₱300 to ₱500 a day, so tip

SeasonYear-round, but the small bangkas are exactly what the Coast Guard grounds first – vessels under 35 gross tons, and in worse weather under 15, are banned from sailing and 'escapade tours' are named in the cancellation notices. BookingWalk-in at any agency the day before, or arrange a private boat at the pier. Kayangan and Barracuda lake tickets are bought in town before you sail, not at the lake. Run byCoron boatmen's association, town agencies, owner-captains.

scooter hire

Scooter and motorbike hire for the Busuanga roads

Coron Town out to Maquinit, Cabo and Bali beaches, Lakdayan in the north, Concepcion and Ocam Ocam in the west, Marcilla and Quezon

Rental shops line the main streets of Coron Town – John Motorbike Rentals, Mad Motorbike, Chilchill Scooter Rental and JED's Motor Rental are the ones locals name, and several will drop the bike at your hotel. Check brakes, tyres and lights before you accept it; the fleet is hard-used. The paved southern highway to Concepcion and Salvacion is fine on a scooter, and the government finished a 985 m concrete section to Sitio Ocam-ocam in 2025, but digital maps badly overstate the rest: a lot of what looks like road is unpaved, rocky or mud. Lakdayan in the north is about an hour with unpaved sections; Marcilla Beach an hour to ninety minutes on a genuinely bad road; take a dirt bike for Quezon or Marcilla rather than a scooter. Wear the helmet.

When
Walk in any day; more shops than demand outside peak season
Takes
Coron to Concepcion about 1 hour 15 minutes; Maquinit 20 minutes; Lakdayan about 1 hour; Ocam Ocam a couple of hours
Fare 2026
About ₱600 for a full day from the Coron shops; another 2026 guide quotes ₱300 for four hours and ₱500 for a full day on small scooters. Cars from ₱1,500 a day with a two-day minimum plus compulsory insurance; a nine-seat van with a driver ₱2,500 medium distance, ₱3,500 long distance, ₱5,500 for eight hours, ₱6,500 for twelve

SeasonYear-round. The unpaved sections turn to mud in the June to October rains and that is when the Busuanga roads hurt people – a passenger jeepney lost its brakes on the descent from Coron towards Busuanga in April 2026 and went over the edge. BookingWalk in, or message a shop on Facebook. Bring your licence. Run byIndependent Coron rental shops; Dadudes Car Rental, Kong-Bus-Service, Coron Van Service and Q-Bus for cars and vans with drivers.

Coast Guard no-sail policies, the two monsoons and the airport works

Everything that floats out of Coron and Culion, and the flights into Busuanga

The Philippine Ports Authority does not cancel trips; a Philippine Coast Guard 'No Sail' policy does, and it prohibits departure outright, after which shipping lines may also stand down voluntarily under their MARINA certificates. The notices are issued through the PPA terminal management offices, and Coron and Culion have their own: TMO Coron and TMO Culion. What is banned is set by vessel size – on 5 August 2026 it was everything of 35 gross tons and under plus the escapade tours; on 18 August 2026 it was 15 gross tons and under, and the named casualties included MV Bunso Ferry 2 from San Jose. That threshold is what decides whether your island-hopping bangka sails while the El Nido fast craft still runs. Watch the PPA feed (@ph_ports) and ask at the pier the evening before. Two monsoons matter: the habagat or south-west monsoon from about June to October, which brought the August 2026 shutdowns, and the amihan or north-east monsoon roughly November to March, which is what stopped Jomalia's El Nido service from 14 March 2026. Typhoons come on top. Separately, Coron was the destination of MV June Aster when it caught fire on 9 September 2026 with 77 dead; Montenegro banned electric and hybrid vehicles from its ships a week later, and the Coron municipal emergency centre only stood down from red alert on 16 September.

When
Issued day by day, usually the morning of or the evening before
Takes
Suspensions typically last a day or two; a March 2026 route suspension ran 'until further notice'
Fare
No charge. Operators rebook or refund, but you deal with the shipping line, not the port

SeasonHabagat roughly June to October; amihan roughly November to March; typhoons mostly July to November. BookingNothing to book. Leave a spare day before any onward international flight and keep your ferry ticket flexible. Run byPhilippine Coast Guard, Philippine Ports Authority (TMO Coron, TMO Culion), MARINA, Municipality of Coron.

Not confirmed

What we could not find out

11 things the researcher looked for and did not find, in their own words, with where to ask instead. None of this goes into the planner; it stays here until someone confirms it.

  1. 01

The brief's premise that Manila–Busuanga flights are the main way in is out of date. Cebu Pacific moved every turboprop out of NAIA to Clark on 29 March 2026, the last phase of a Manila Slot Coordinating Committee resolution; a Philippines travel guide updated in August 2026 says there are now no direct Manila flights with any airline, and Sunlight Air's own site lists Coron's only connections as Clark and Cebu. What could not be confirmed from a primary source is whether Philippine Airlines still flies Manila–Busuanga; PAL's site would not load. Check with PAL directly before assuming a Manila departure exists.

  2. 02

The 30 km airport transfer is a shared minivan, not a jeepney or multicab, and no source found any shared public transport at all between the airport and Coron Town other than these vans.

  3. 03

The published Coron tricycle fare matrix itself could not be obtained. coron.gov.ph returns HTTP 401 and has no readable pages. The ₱20 shared fare and the student rate are confirmed through a Palawan News report of an enforcement case and through two Coron-based guides, but the full matrix of point-to-point rates and the ordinance number should be asked for at the Municipal Traffic Management Office or the Sangguniang Bayan.

  4. 04

Port-to-town tricycle fares are reported inconsistently: ₱20 to ₱30 for a shared ride in town, but ₱100 per person or ₱300 for the whole tricycle from the PPA port in one 2026 guide and a ₱300 premium for licensed pier tricycles in another. Assume the pier is a negotiated special trip.

  5. 05

No source was found for multicabs or jeepneys running as a regular passenger service between Coron Town and Maquinit Hot Spring or the outlying farms. Wikivoyage says there is only one bus or jeepney trip a day towards Busuanga municipality; the only scheduled shared road service confirmed in 2026 is the Q-Van line to Concepcion and Salvacion. Jeepneys demonstrably exist on the Coron–Busuanga road because one crashed on it in April 2026, but no timetable, stand or fare could be found. Ask at Coron Town Plaza.

  6. 06

Habal-habal in Coron is thinly evidenced. The only priced motorbike-with-rider service found is the ₱600 onward transfer from the Q-Van drop-off to Ocam Ocam. Whether there is a habal-habal stand in Coron Town, and what it charges, was not confirmed.

  7. 07

Boats to Linapacan are not confirmed for 2026. The timetable for Wave and Hannah calling at Linapacan comes from Wikivoyage's El Nido and Coron articles, which carry no recent edit date for that listing, and pamasahe lists no Linapacan route at all. Ask at the Coron town pier or at the Q-Van office.

  8. 08

No published fare was found for the multi-day Coron–El Nido expedition boats; operators quote on request and the only figure the sources give is a ₱1,000 discount.

  9. 09

Whether the Q-Van fare is back to ₱250 or still at the ₱300 energy-emergency rate is unresolved: the operator announced a cut for July 2026 but the Coron transport pages, last updated in August 2026, still print the ₱300 notice. Phone the plaza office.

  10. 10

Culion ferry times and fares differ between Montenegro's rate card as carried by pamasahe in September 2026 (₱455, 06:00 and 12:00) and a Coron guide updated in August 2026 (₱416, 06:00 and 14:00). Confirm at the ticket booths in front of the port gate.

  11. 11

Phimal's Coron–El Nido fare and exact times could not be confirmed from an operator source; pamasahe has no page for the route and the only description is a travel guide's.
