Mixroutes compares train, bus, metro, flight, ferry and cab for any trip, then sends you to the operator to book. We add nothing to the fare.
Why we built it
Most trip planners fill the gaps between big cities with a guess and never tell you. We grew up on the messy last mile, the auto from the station, the bus that only runs on weekdays, the ferry nobody lists, and we wanted a planner that shows its working.
So every number on Mixroutes carries a label. Live means the operator told us right now. Quoted means it comes from a published fare table. Estimated means we built a range from the operator's own per-kilometre rates and we say so.
Where the data comes from
- Public timetables in GTFS, the open standard transit agencies publish, refreshed nightly.
- Operator fare tables and published slabs, with the source shown on each itinerary.
- OpenStreetMap for places and roads.
- Riders, who report late trains, wrong fares and closed roads so the next person sees it.
Who we are
Mixroutes is made by Lascade, the team behind Flights70, Hotels70 and eSIM70, from Kochi, Kerala. Bookings for flights and hotels go through those products; ground transport goes straight to the operator.
We are in public beta. Coverage grows city by city and we would rather show fewer routes we can vouch for than more we cannot.
