Zaventem
Zaventem is a municipality in the province of Flemish Brabant, in the Flemish region of Belgium.
It is located in the Dijleland area, one of the three large recreational areas which together form the Groene Gordel around the Brussels-Capital Region. The municipality comprises the subdivisions or deelgemeenten of Nossegem, Sint-Stevens-Woluwe, Sterrebeek and Zaventem proper. The municipality is a suburb of Brussels, and Sint-Stevens-Woluwe directly borders the city, specifically the Woluwe-Saint-Lambert municipality.
Getting to Zaventem
Brussels Airport is 3 km from Zaventem. Zaventem is located on the E40/A3 with the exits Sterrebeek and Kraainem. Furthermore, within the municipality there is the motorway junction Sint-Stevens-Woluwe. Here the E40 merges with the R0 (Brussels ring road). The R0 also passes through Zaventem and has two exits: Zaventem-Henneaulaan and the motorway access to the airport.
