Cetate
Cetate is the central district of Timișoara, located on the site of the Vauban-style Timișoara Fortress.
Traditionally, it corresponds to the first constituency out of Timișoara's ten administrative constituencies. The district underwent modernization during the Belle Époque period, particularly throughout the three decades when Carol Telbisz served as mayor of the city.
