Xinyu
Xinyu is a prefecture-level city in west-central Jiangxi province, People's Republic of China.
It serves as a major industrial hub in central China, designated as a National New Energy Technology Demonstration City and a base for the steel industry.
Getting to Xinyu
In March 2000, the Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government decided to set up the Fairy Lake Scenic Area Committee and the Fairy Lake Scenic Area Management Committee of Xinyu City. Xinyu Kongmujiang Ecological and Economic Zone Party Committee and Management Committee formerly known as Xinyu Yangtiangang Party Committee and Management Committee were established in October 2006.

Things to do
Walk in the North Lake Road in the sunset. It's an avenue surrounded by nice trees in the upper class resident area. Starting from the dusk, local people all come out walking, chatting in their very relaxing dress, enjoying the shadowed road and glass slopes in the North Lake Park.
Where to eat
Fish and Tofu Stew (豆腐鱼). A specialty dish in the Jiangxi region, Fish and Tofu Stew is typically prepared by simmering fish and tofu together, creating a delicious and savory flavor. Xinyu Rice Noodles (新余米线). Xinyu Rice Noodles are a traditional noodle dish in the local cuisine, known for their thin and smooth texture. They can be paired with various soup bases and toppings. Lake Fish Rice (湖鱼米饭).
