Wroughton
Wroughton is a large village and civil parish in the Borough of Swindon, Wiltshire, England.
Located between the M4 motorway and the edge of the North Wessex Downs National Landscape, it lies about 2.5 miles (4 km) south of Swindon town centre, 5 miles (8 km) east of Royal Wootton Bassett, and 7.5 miles (12 km) north of Avebury.

It is about 4 miles (6.4 km) south of Swindon town centre, the town of Marlborough is about 10 miles (16.1 km) south.

Based on the old RAF Wroughton Airfield, the science museum features numerous display on various science and engineering topics.
