Uherské Hradiště
Uherské Hradiště is a town in the Zlín Region of the Czech Republic.
It has about 25,000 inhabitants. The agglomeration with the two neighbouring towns of Staré Město and Kunovice has over 37,000 inhabitants. Uherské Hradiště is located on the left bank of the Morava River.
Getting to Uherské Hradiště
Direct connection between from Brno, Prague and Zlín. Direct connection from Prague through Olomouc. From Brno, the best way is to take a train to Staré Město u Uherského Hradiště and transfer to another train; this takes about 1h 30min. There are also direct local trains, but their rides are longer (2h10min to 2h20min). Along the I/50 road.

Things to do
Watch football: 1. FC Slovácko play soccer in First League, the Czech top tier. Their home ground is Miroslava Valenty Stadium, capacity 8120, which occasionally hosts international matches, such as Czech Republic v Ukraine in 2018.
