Uberlândia
Uberlândia is a Brazilian municipality located in the interior of the state of Minas Gerais, in the region known as Triângulo Mineiro, Southeast Region of the country.
With a population of 754,954 inhabitants, according to the 2024 population estimate by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), it is the second most populous municipality in the state.
Getting to Uberlândia
Uberlândia has the second largest airport in Minas Gerais in terms of passengers. Uberlândia–Tenente Coronel Aviador César Bombonato Airport (UDI IATA) wins the award for most pompously long official airport name. It is served by Azul, Gol, and LATAM with direct flights from São Paulo and Belo Horizonte.
Worth seeing
Miranda Reservoir (Reservatório da Usina de Miranda). Located on the Miranda dam, which gives tourists a panoramic view of the Araguari River. There is also a Dinosaur Park, with full size dinosaur replicas. Sabiá Park (Parque do Sabiá), Rua Haia, no number (between the neighborhoods of Tibery and Santa Mônica),. Daily 06:00-22:00.

The city has architectural, culture, and natural values. Here are the main attractions in the city: Municipal Market of Uberlândia: It is located at the centre of the city. It was established in 1923, but only had its construction started in 1944, under the tenure of Mayor Vasconcelos Costa, with modern era architecture. It was a wholesaler centre until 1977, when the commerce was transferred to the Ceasa.
