Toshima
Toshima is a special ward in the Tokyo Metropolis in Japan.
It is one of the eight central wards of the Tokyo Metropolitan area. Located in the northern area of Tokyo, Toshima is bordered by the wards of Nerima, Itabashi, and Kita in the north and Nakano, Shinjuku, and Bunkyo in the south.
Getting to Toshima
Ferries that head to Niijima Island will make a brief stop at Toshima, usually around 07:00. There is one other (much more expensive) way to travel to Toshima which is a 10-minute flight by a private helicopter from Oshima Island. Getting out is the same way as getting in; catching the ferry off the island via the port at around 07:00 most mornings.
