Temple
A temple is a place of worship, a building used for spiritual rituals and activities such as prayer and sacrifice.
By convention, the specially built places of worship for some religions are commonly called "temples" in English, while those of other religions are not, even though they fulfill very similar functions.
Getting to Temple
I-35 between Waco and Austin US 190 east of Killeen Amtrak serves Temple with its once-daily Texas Eagle service. The train runs between Chicago and San Antonio, continuing to Los Angeles three times per week.
