Taubaté is a medium-sized city in the state of São Paulo, in Paraíba Valley southeastern Brazil.

The city that was established in the early 17th century, by Jacques Félixis, is home for an estimated population of 250,000 people, living between São Paulo to Rio de Janeiro.

Getting to Taubaté

The 1 local airport (QHP IATA) shares its runway with a Brazilian Army aviation base, and receives no regular flights. The city has two bus terminals:
