Suzhou Industrial Park

The Suzhou Industrial Park (苏州工业园区) is a major development zone located in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China.

It was formally established in February 1994 as part of China's broader reform and opening up efforts under a bilateral agreement between the Chinese and Singaporean governments. The project was envisioned as a showcase for modern, international standards in urban planning, economic development and public administration, drawing on Singapore's experience in integrated development and effective governance.
