Skelmanthorpe
Skelmanthorpe, known locally as Shat, is a village in the Denby Dale civil parish, in the metropolitan borough of Kirklees, in West Yorkshire, England.
It is 9 miles (14 km) from both Huddersfield and Barnsley. According to the 2011 census, the village had a population of 4,549.
