Shomolu
Somolu is a neighbourhood in Lagos and a local government area (LGA) in Lagos State.
Its administrative headquarters is located on Durosimi Street. Somolu Local Government is part of the Lagos East Senatorial Zone and a lawmaker represents the district at the Federal House of Representatives. Somolu is plagued by problems of poor sanitation, high rent, overall poverty, and youth criminal subculture. It is also known for its printing industry, which is the largest in Lagos and one of the most diverse in the world. Most notably, offset and digital print shops can be found both off and on Bajulaiye Road as well as Oguntolu and many more.
Getting to Shomolu
You can get into Somolu from any part of Lagos by taking a bus or BRT. You can also rent Uber or Bolt although their fees are higher, they would definitely take you to this part of Lagos.

Getting around Shomolu the local way
- Get inYou can get in to Lagos mainland from any part of Lagos by either by shared taxis, BRT buses or local buses (also referred to as danfo).
