Sandford-on-Thames
Sandford-on-Thames, also referred to as simply Sandford, is a village and civil parish in the South Oxfordshire district, in Oxfordshire, England, beside the River Thames, just south of Oxford.
The village is just west of the A4074 road between Oxford and Henley. In 2001 the parish had a population of 1336.
Getting to Sandford-on-Thames
Being 4 mi (6.4 km) south of Oxford centre, many of the same transport links for Oxford can also be used to get into Sandford-on-Thames. From Oxford city centre take the Iffley Rd south, A4158 to the Southern Bypass, continue heading south through Littlemore on Oxford Rd which becomes Sandford Rd, then Henley Rd. Sandford-on-Thames has no station. Take the train to Oxford and walk or taxi to Sandford-on-Thames.

Getting around Sandford-on-Thames the local way
- Get in() at Kidlington is used mainly for private and charter aircraft and has only intermittently had scheduled airline flights; it is useful only if you fly your own plane, or are able to charter a small aircraft.
- Get inBirmingham Airport has its own railway station called Birmingham International, which is connected to the airport terminal building via the free AirRail Link cable car shuttle, taking 1–2 min.
