The Port of Boston is a major seaport located in Boston Harbor and adjacent to the City of Boston.

It is the largest port in Massachusetts and one of the principal ports on the East Coast of the United States.

Getting around Port of Boston the local way

  • Get inTake the F2H from Logan Ferry Terminal for boats to Long Wharf, Hingham, and Hull.
  • Get inThese ferries run year round, but call ahead if it looks like extreme, icy ocean conditions could be an issue.
  • Get inWater taxis are also available, taking you to any dock in the city with about 10 minutes notice.
  • Go nextTake the Logan Ferry across the harbor to Hull, operating year round.
