Odiham
Odiham is a large historic village and civil parish in the Hart district of Hampshire, England.
It has been twinned with Sourdeval in the Manche Department of France since 1993. The 2011 population was 4,406. The parish in 1851 had an area of 7,354 acres with 50 acres covered by water. The nearest railway station is at Hook, on the South West main line. The village had its own hundred, named The Hundred of Odiham. The village is situated slightly south of the M3 motorway and approximately midway between the north Hampshire towns Fleet and Basingstoke, 37 miles north-northeast of Southampton and 43 miles (69 km) southwest of London.
Getting to Odiham
Odiham is best accessed from junction 5 of the M3 motorway, 2½ miles (4 km) away. Other routes include the A287 from Farnham or the B3349 from Alton.

The ruins of a castle built by King John.

A historic church in Odiham, and the largest in the diocese.

7, The St, Greywell (lies a hundred yards or so south-east of the village of Greywell).
- 04Greywell Tunnel
Special Scientific Interest, with its bat colony.
Things to do
Basingstoke Canal. The Basingstoke Canal extends through Odiham, and there are many walks around the canal. Both Odiham Castle and the Greywell Tunnel are easily accessible from the towpath. The canal is connected to the national network at its far end from Odiham.
