How locals move
Getting around Oberasbach the local way
- Get inHowever these are not point-to-point ferries, but scenic cruises, typically on a 7- or 14-day itinerary.
- Go nextYou'd probably do them as a day trip, as it wouldn't be worth re-locating (unless you were hiking, knapsack on your back): Fürth - just 5 km west, this has charming medieval streets, a Jewish museum and a radio museum.
- Go nextWell within a day trip, but deserving longer: Bamberg - once an ecclesiastical centre, the entire town is a UNESCO World Heritage site for its original Romanesque buildings, which survived the war.
