Lee-on-the-Solent

Lee-on-the-Solent, often referred to as Lee-on-Solent, is a seaside district of the borough of Gosport in Hampshire, England, about five miles (8 km) west of Portsmouth.

The area is located on the coast of the Solent. It is primarily a residential area, with an upsurge of mostly local visitors in summer, but was also the former home to the Royal Naval Air Station HMS Daedalus.

Get in

Getting to Lee-on-the-Solent

Leave the M27 at Junction 11 and follow the A32. At rush hour, and sometimes at weekends, this is a busy road with long delays. Gosport Ferry. 05:30-Midnight. Most convenient way to get to Gosport from Portsmouth. A supplement is payable for bikes and e-scooters. Combination tickets are also available giving unlimited bus travel for a day in Hampshire.
