Konin

Konin is a city in central Poland, on the Warta River.

It is the capital of Konin County and is located within the Greater Poland Voivodeship. In 2021 the population of the city was 71,427, making it the fourth-largest city in Greater Poland after Poznań, Kalisz and Piła.

The city has a 1 railway station (stacja kolejowa) on the important railway line connecting Warsaw with Poznań. It has frequent train connections to both cities. From Poznań, Warsaw, or Łódź, you can reach the highway A2.

The International Children's Song and Dance Festival (Międzynarodowy Dziecięcy Festiwal Piosenki i Tańca). It takes place every year in June, with performers from Europe and partner cities participating.
