
Hirakata
Hirakata is a city in northeastern Osaka Prefecture, Japan.
As of 31 December 2021, the city had an estimated population of 397,681 in 183075 households and a population density of 6100 persons per km2. The total area of the city is 65.12 square kilometres (25.14 sq mi).
Getting to Hirakata
The Keihan Main Line between Osaka (Yodoyabashi, Kyobashi; up to 29 min, ¥350) and eastern Kyoto (Demachiyanagi, Sanjo, Gion-Shijo; up to 30 min, ¥370) passes through Hirakata. Services are frequent, with a train every 6 minutes or so, virtually all of which stop at the main

Worth seeing
- 01Okami Shrine
Located atop Mount Mannenji, the shrine grounds are filled with plum blossoms around February and March.
