
Guangyuan
Guangyuan is a prefecture-level city in Sichuan Province, China, bordering the provinces of Shaanxi to the northeast and Gansu to the northwest.
Guangyuan City is located on the northern edge of the Sichuan Basin, on the upper reaches of the Jialing River, and is the junction of Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu provinces. The city has a population of 2,305,657 as of the 2020 census. By the end of 2024, the registered population of the city will be 2,893,700. Among them, the urban population is 814,800 and the rural population is 2.078,800, accounting for 28.2% and 71.8% of the total population respectively.
Getting to Guangyuan
The Chengdu to Xi'an high-speed rail has a stop in Guangyuan. The standard sleeper trains also stop here. The long distance bus stop is underneath the plaza directly in front of the train station. Same-day tickets are available to regional centers.
