Gosforth

Gosforth is an area of Newcastle upon Tyne, in Tyne and Wear, England, situated north of the city centre.

It constituted a separate urban district of Northumberland from 1895 until 1974 before officially merging with the city of Newcastle upon Tyne. In 2001, it had a population of 23,620.
