Gibraltar

It has an area of 6.8 km2 (2.6 sq mi) and is bordered to the north by Spain. The landscape is dominated by the Rock of Gibraltar, at the foot of which is a densely populated town area. Gibraltar is home to around 38,000 people, primarily Gibraltarians.
Getting to Gibraltar
The transition period after the UK leaving the EU ended in 2021. However, there have been special arrangements. On 15 July 2026, a new agreement with the EU is provisionally implemented, removing border controls between Gibraltar and the Schengen Area, and creating a customs union between Gibraltar and the EU. While Gibraltar is not an official member of Schengen, for all travel purposes, it is treated as such.
