Fort Lincoln
Fort Lincoln is a neighborhood located in northeastern Washington, D.C.
It is bounded by Bladensburg Road to the northwest, Eastern Avenue to the northeast, New York Avenue NE to the south, and South Dakota Avenue NE to the southwest. The town of Colmar Manor, Maryland, is across Eastern Avenue from the Fort Lincoln neighborhood, as is the Fort Lincoln Cemetery.

Getting around Fort Lincoln the local way
- Get inOK, canoe is not a very practical way to visit Anacostia, but it is by far the most fun.
- Get inThe Anacostia River is easily navigable by canoe, and there are several places to launch: Anacostia Park, Bladensburg Park (in Bladensburg, Maryland), and the public boat ramp at Langston Golf Course in the east of Capitol Hill.
