Elamkunnapuzha
Elamkunnapuzha is a village in the Ernakulam district in the Indian state of Keralam.
Elamkunnapuzha is situated on the western side of Vypin Island in Ernakulam district, flanked by the Arabian Sea to its west. It covers a total geographical area of 11.66 square kilometres. Due to its advantageous littoral positioning, localities within the panchayat, notably Malippuram, historically operated as ports of entry for direct commodity trade—principally salt—transferred from Bombay to the Kingdom of Cochin.
