Downtown Vancouver
Downtown Vancouver is the city centre of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Situated on the northwestern shore of the Burrard Peninsula in the Lower Mainland region, it occupies most of the north shore of the False Creek inlet, which cuts into the Burrard Peninsula creating the Downtown Peninsula, where the West End and Stanley Park are located.

Getting around Downtown Vancouver the local way
- Get inSouth of downtown, in False Creek, two ferry operators provide similar routes serving Yaletown and False Creek, including Science World and the Olympic Village, with connections to Granville Island and Kitsilano (this destination only by False Creek Ferries).
- Get inFerry operators in False Creek: Driving into and around downtown isn't usually a problem outside of rush hour, but it can be a nuisance (particularly parking), so your best bet is to leave your car outside of the city centre to take public transit.
- Get around250 - Between downtown Vancouver and Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal in West Vancouver with a stop along the way at Park Royal Mall in West Vancouver.
- Get around257 - Limited stop route between downtown Vancouver and Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal in West Vancouver with a stop along the way at Park Royal Mall in West Vancouver.
- Get aroundFerries depart every 15 minutes for much of the day and every 30 minutes in the evening.
