Cremyll is a small coastal village in the civil parish of Maker-with-Rame, in south-east Cornwall, England, United Kingdom.

Cremyll is on the Rame Peninsula facing Plymouth Sound. The village is about 9 miles by road or 0.5 miles by boat from Plymouth.

  • Get inIf you are coming in by car but don't want to face the parking problems of the city-centre, there are also three main Park & Ride sites serving the city: (east near Plympton), (north) and (city centre) {{go | name | url | address | long | phone | hours | wikidata 2023-12-31 | content=Brittany Ferries operates services to Plymouth from Santander (22 hours) and Roscoff (6 hours during the day, 8 hours during the night).
  • Get inThe Ferry Terminal is to the west of the City Centre at the Millbay Docks, about (800 m) a mile walk from the Hoe and Central shopping precinct.
  • Get aroundOne of the most 'local' ways to get around is by water taxi or boat.
  • Get aroundThe two most popular services amongst locals are probably the Barbican-Mountbatten line and the Cremyll Ferry from Admiral's Hard to Mount Edgecumbe.
  • Get aroundThese can be relatively busy during the evenings and at rush hour; the Cremyll Ferry in particular can be quite full of school children at around 4pm during term time.
  • Go nextYou can take the Cremyll ferry back to Plymouth (get a timetable from the Tourist Information Office, but they're fairly frequent for the 10-minute trip).
  • Go nextCanoe tours Tamar Trails are a beautiful way to explore the magical winding Tamar Valley and depart from nearby Callington where you can also visit National Trust Property Cotehele, the ancient seat of the Edgcumb family.
