Carapicuíba is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil.

It is part of the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo. The population is 398,236 in an area of 34.55 square kilometres (13.34 sq mi). It is one of the most densely populated municipalities in the state of São Paulo.

Expresso Turístico CPTM (At Luz station), toll-free: +0800 055 0121. Sat Sun. The Expresso Turístico is a train ride for tourists that is available on weekends. It departs from the historical Luz station, and is a two-way, direct ride in a comfortable train that goes to Jundiaí (outside Grande São Paulo), Mogi das Cruzes or Paranapiacaba.
