It is 4 miles (6.4 km) north of St Neots and 4 miles (6.4 km) south-west of Huntingdon. It includes the hamlets of Stirtloe and Hardwick. It lies within the historic county of Huntingdonshire, close to the north-south A1 road and the River Great Ouse.
