Breña

Breña is a district of Lima, Peru.

It is the second smallest district of the city, and its creation dates back to the demolition of the city walls ordered by president José Balta during the late 19th century, which led to the broad expansion of the city.

  • Get aroundIn Lima the shared taxis are prohibited, but there are some taxis colectivos pirata, and it might not hurt to look if there's someone hiding on the back seat or the trunk before entering.
