Getting to Bracebridge Heath

Lincoln does not have its own airport but it is relatively easy to get to and from many UK airports. Humberside Airport (HUY IATA) is the closest airport, located north-east of Lincoln and around a 50-minute drive. However, as of September 2026, it is only served by KLM flights to Amsterdam, and public transport to Lincoln is poor.

Eat

Where to eat

Lincolnshire is a predominantly agricultural county, and this is reflected in the speciality food within Lincoln itself - many residents are very proud of the local produce, and it is very easy to find at local restaurants. Some of these include Lincolnshire sausages, which are well-known across the UK, and differ from other British sausage types by using coarser-ground pork and a heavy use of sage for flavouring.
