Botafogo
Botafogo is a beachfront neighborhood (bairro) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
It is a mostly upper middle class and small commerce community, and is located between the hills of Mundo Novo, Dona Marta and São João. The word Botafogo also refers to a Latin American ballroom dance move that originated in this area.

- Get inFrom the center of the state capital, it is possible to go to Niterói by urban bus, van and ferry lines.

- Get inThe ferry between Rio and Niteroi is a pleasant and affordable trip.
- Get aroundTo get to the Oceanic Area you'd better have a car, otherwise take a municipal bus at the Bus Terminal next to the Ferry Station.
