Asadabad
Asadabad, historically called Chighansarai, is a city in eastern Afghanistan, serving as the capital of Kunar Province.
It is within the jurisdiction of Asadabad District and has an estimated population of 42,396 people. Mullah Nazar Mohammad Attiq is the current mayor of the city.
