Ansan-si

Ansan is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.

It lies southwest of Seoul and is part of the Seoul Metropolitan Area. It is connected to Seoul by rail via Seoul Subway Line 4. It is situated on the Yellow Sea coast and some islands lie within its jurisdiction. The largest and best-known of these is Daebu Island.

Getting to Ansan-si

Subway & commuter rail: Ansan is well-connected to Seoul and neighboring cities via multiple subway lines: Line 4 (Oido Line) & Suin-Bundang Line: Share tracks through central Ansan, stopping at major hubs like Jungang, Gojan, and Ansan stations. Express trains reach Sadang or Seoul Station in under an hour. Seohae Line: Connects western Ansan (Siu and Wonsi stations) northward toward Bucheon and Gimpo Airport.

There are many foreign restaurants including Indian, Indonesian, Pakistani and others mostly being situated near Ansan station. Ansan is renowned for its diverse international food scene, centered around the Multicultural Food Street in Wongok-dong near Ansan Station.
