Albion Park Rail
Albion Park Rail is a suburb of Shellharbour, Australia situated in the Macquarie Valley (Shellharbour).
The South Coast railway line was opened to the railway station and Bombo in 1887. At the time the nearest town was Albion Park, several kilometres away. Over time, houses were built around the railway station, and Albion Park Rail developed into a town in its own right, and with its own name.

The Kiama branch of the South Coast Line (SCO) has hourly services from Wollongong, Helensburgh and Sydney. While the alignment is slow and windy, the trains that make it to Shellharbour do end up following an express route north of Wollongong.

Where to eat
Before the Albion Park Rail Bypass of the Princes Mwy was built, traffic was essentially forced to use a short non-freeway section of highway in Albion Park between two freeways. This resulted in many fast-food chains such as Maccas, Subway, Oporto and Taco Bell in addition to local eateries to open up on the southbound section, which gave Albion Park an unusual amount of eateries.
