Vange is an area in the south of Basildon in Essex, England.
Vange is an area in the south of Basildon in Essex, England. Historically, a separate village and parish, Vange remained a small village until the first half of the 20th century, when it experienced significant plotlands development. In 1949, it was included in the designated area for the new town of Basildon, leading to further residential development. It now forms part of the built up area of Basildon. It gives its name to one of the wards of the Borough of Basildon. At the 2021 census the ward had a population of 10,401.
