Petnica Cave is located in the village of Petnica, near the city of Valjevo, Serbia. The cave has been popular for tourism since at least the 19th century, when it was one of the three most popular caving destinations in Serbia along with Prekonoska and Lazareva Pecina.

The Monument to the Fighters of the Revolution, also known as the Monument to Stevan Filipović or simply the Valjevo Monument, is a memorial located in Valjevo, Serbia. It is dedicated to the National Hero of Yugoslavia Stevan Filipović and to the Partisan fighters from the Valjevo region who fought in the National Liberation War during World War II. The monument was inspired by a famous photograph capturing Filipović’s final moments, in which he defiantly raised his fists and addressed the gathered crowd before his execution on 22 May 1942.

The Partisan Memorial Cemetery on Krušik in Valjevo, Serbia, is a memorial cemetery in the northwestern part of the city, on Krušik Hill, where 313 fighters and participants of the Partisan National Liberation Movement who were born, fought, or fell in the Valjevo area during World War II in Yugoslavia are buried. Most of those interred, 261 of them, were participants in the Partisan resistance who were shot by the Germans on 27 November 1941 after being captured and handed over by Ravna Gora Chetniks.
