Kuzhithura is part of Alappad panchayat, which is part of the Karunagappally Taluk, situated on a narrow strip of land sandwiched between the Arabian Sea and the Thiruvananthapuram–Shoranur canal. It is a tourist destination with green land, backwaters, and beaches.
