Hailsham is a town, civil parish and the administrative centre of the Wealden district of East Sussex, England. It lies near the Cuckmere River, approximately 17 miles (27 km) east of Brighton, 7 miles (11 km) north of Eastbourne, and 14 miles (23 km) west of Hastings. It had a population of 23,114 at the 2021 census.
