Where to eat

For the adventurous traveler there is Mercado Feira. Through narrow corridors inside the market you´ll find humble eating stalls (mostly at the end of the market) where inexpensive meals ("xima (corn porridge), arroz (rice), mandioca (cassava), couve (collard greens), frango (chicken) ou peixe (fish) usually grilled, salada") and drinks (including cerveja-beer) are purchased.
