Balzan is a municipality in the Northern Region of Malta, and together with Attard and Lija, forms part of the "Three Villages".

Balzan is a municipality in the Northern Region of Malta, and together with Attard and Lija, forms part of the "Three Villages". The village originally consisted of a group of small dwellings and farms but eventually grew, becoming a parish in the 17th century. The population of Balzan was 5,022 in July 2024. This included 2,504 males and 2,518 females; 3,957 Maltese nationals and 1,065 foreign nationals.
